Light in the Dark

OPEN CALL: Light in the Dark
As the days grow shorter and the nights longer, Light in the Dark invites artists to reflect on the fragile glow that carries us through the season — a flicker of memory, a spark of hope, a shimmer of celebration.
This exhibition spans a time of powerful symbolism: from the solemn reflection of Remembrance in November, to the warmth, wonder, and togetherness of Christmas and the turning of the year. It is a period when grief and gratitude walk hand in hand; when silence and song echo through quiet streets; when we gather by candlelight — to remember, to rejoice, to endure.
We invite artists to respond to this rich, emotional terrain. What is light to you in the dark months? Is it literal — a lantern, a fire, the low winter sun? Or metaphorical — a moment of kindness, a memory, a ritual, a dream?
