Curatorial Statement — Light in the Dark

Darkness makes light visible. And light, in turn, reveals the silence within the dark. Light in the Dark brings together artists who trace the echoes of this ancient duality — following the fragile thread of hope, memory, and renewal that glows at the heart of shadow.
This exhibition does not simply celebrate the brilliance of light, but also its fragility. Here, light is not an adornment; it is an act of remembrance, a metaphor for inner being. Like at Christmas, light is born from darkness — a symbol of warmth and hope sprouting even in the coldest hours. And as in Remembrance, it carries the quiet resonance of the past — guiding us through the shadows with the presence of those we have lost, and the memories that continue to illuminate our way.
